Police stop driver in Alfreton who tried this 'classic trick'

Police stopped a van in Alfreton after noticing that it had no insurance.

Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit‏ stopped the van yesterday, Sunday, May 20.

A police spokesman said: "The driver tried the classic “It’s on a traders policy mate!”.

"Our reply “It’s now on our recovery truck”."

The van has now been seized.
