Police step up patrols in Ashfield area after reports of increased anti-social behaviour

There will be an increased police presence in one area of Ashfield after officers received increased reports about anti-social behaviour.

Members of the Ashfield local neighbourhood policing team, will now conduct regular patrols in Underwood to tackle the problem which they say is having ‘such a detrimental effect on those living locally’.

It comes after officers attended Winter Close in Underwood on Sunday, December 13 following reports that youths are allegedly taking drugs on the lane alongside other anti-social behaviour.
