Police seize 100 cannabis plants from Nottinghamshire house

Nottinghamshire Police have seized 100 cannabis plants from a house in Bulwell.

Officers forced entry to a house on Aston Drive in Bulwell on Monday following a report that a man was being held against his will and forced to tend to cannabis plants.

Around 100 plants were found over two floors, but when the property was searched there was no one there.

Detective Inspector Ruby Burrow said: “Clearly we’re very concerned with the report that someone may have been held against their will in connection with these cannabis plants.

“We are undertaking door to door enquiries to find out as much as we can about what was happening here.

“However, I would encourage anyone who knows anything to come forward and help us ensure the safety and welfare of anyone who may have been involved and catch those responsible.”
