Police release CCTV images of people they want to talk to after Giltbrook pub assault

Police have released images of five individuals they would like to trace following an assault in a Giltbrook pub.

A man and woman – both in their 30s – were attacked shortly after entering The Hayloft on Nottingham Road, after 10pm on November 8 last year.

The man was left with a broken nose and chipped tooth, whilst the woman was left badly bruised following the assault.

Officers believe the people in the now-released CCTV images will be able to assist the investigation and are encouraging anyone who recognises them to come forward.

PC Mathew Rose, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a nasty assault which left both victims requiring hospital treatment.

“Having carried out extensive inquiries, we would now like to speak with the people featured in these photos as we believe they may have vital information which could help our investigation.

“I would ask anyone who believes they know the people in the photos to get in touch.”

Those with information are asked to call 101, quoting incident number 638 of 8 November 2025.

Alternatively, details can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
