A MOTORBIKE passenger who died following a road crash in the Collingham area has been named as Kati Cresswell (26) from Shirebrook.
She was pronounced dead at the scene after the Suzuki motorcycle she was the pillion passenger of was in collision with a caravan.
It happened just after 5pm on 27th May on the A1133 near to the junction with the A46.
The 43-year-old rider of the bike was air-lifted to the Queen’s Medical Centre with multiple injuries. He remains in a serious condition in hospital.
No one else was injured. Part of the A1133 was closed for eight hours while police conducted their enquiries.
Investigating officers believe the motorcycle in question was part of a larger group of bikes travelling from the Gainsborough area, through Collingham and towards Newark, when the collision occurred.
