Police name man killed in Sutton minibus crash

Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed the name of a man who died in a crash involving a minibus and a car at Sutton on Monday.

Rafal Zaborowski (25), of St Ann’s, Nottingham, had been travelling in the minibus when it was in collision with a Renault Clio at the junction of the A617 Mansfield Ashfield Regeneration Route and Hamilton Road at around 12.35am. Mr Zaborowski was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 22-year-old man who was driving the Clio was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has now been bailed pending further enquiries.

A 50-year-old woman travelling in the minibus was also seriously injured in the collision and remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
