Police investigation underway as body found in River Trent

Police are investigating the discovery of a body – found in the River Trent.

Officers were called out to the Lady Bay area of Nottingham at around 10am today following the sad discovery.

A spokesman said: “Police are investigating after a body was found in the River Trent.

“Officers were called by a member of the public following the discovery near the Lady Bay area at around 10am today (Saturday).”
