THE DEATH of a man at a house in Mansfield led police to launch an investigation on Tuesday morning.
Several police cars and an ambulance attended the terraced house on Chesterfield Road South at just after 10am.
A police cordon was set up around the property and officers stood guard to the front and rear of the three-storey house.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: “Investigations are currently underway into the death of a 42-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.”
She added the force had attended after being called by East Midlands Ambulance Service.
The man has not been named. Police did not indicate how he may have died.
