“This issue goes beyond the monetary cost to repair the damage; their reckless behaviour has ruined two fields which were enjoyed by residents everyday.

“The Council will not tolerate this kind of behaviour and we are working closely with the police to ensure that we can find who is responsible.

“The Council’s Environment Team are working to fix the damage, by reseeding the areas, so that the playing fields can continued to be enjoyed by the community as part of their daily exercise during lockdown.”
