Police find cannabis plants worth over £250,000 in Mansfield Woodhouse
and live on Freeview channel 276
Officers attended an industrial address off Oxclose Lane, Mansfield Woodhouse, shortly after 10.45pm on Tuesday.
As they were driving towards the location, they stopped and searched three men who were carrying gardening equipment.

Hide AdA short time later they gained access to a large industrial unit containing more than 400 cannabis plants.
The plants, with a street value of more than £250,000, have now been removed from the site and an array of growing equipment has been put beyond use.
Three men, aged 36, 36, and 27, were arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and have since been released under investigation.
Mobile phones and other evidence were also seized.
Inspector Nick Butler, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a very large and sophisticated cannabis grow that had clearly taken some considerable time and expense to set up.

Hide Ad“I am pleased that we have disrupted the activities of whoever is operating it, and that we have taken a very significant quantity of drugs off the streets.
“We take the production and supply of illegal drugs extremely seriously and will not tolerate the cultivation of cannabis in our communities.
“Over the past year we have been relentless in our pursuit of these grows and the people behind them.
“This work will continue in the months ahead so my message to anyone involved in this illegal activity is clear: we are very likely to find out what you’re doing and, when we do, we will take decisive action.”
