Police crime report for incidents in the Mansfield area

Here is a list of crimes reported in the Mansfield district from Tuesday, July 6, and Tuesday, July 13.

Only those areas with reported crimes are listed.BERRY HILLAttempted burglary. Offenders tired to prise open the rear conservatory door of a property on Vale Close, sometime in the last week.

Burglary. A witness a spotted a male trying to saw off the padlock to get into the premises on Sandhurst Avenue, on July 12. When the male realised he had been seen he jumped into his van and sped off. ANPR are tracking the vehicle to locate its whereabouts.Theft. Two males broke into a building site on Lindhurst Way West, at 7.20pm, on July 12, and stole several lintels costing thousands of pounds. The entrance gate was cut with an angle grinder to get in.EAKRINGBurglary. Milk was stolen from a front porch on Windsor Road in Mansfield on July 12. There is no CCTV at the property.GRANGE FARMTheft of motor vehicle. A black Mercedes was stolen from the driveway of a property on Bonington Road, in Mansfield, between 11.30am, on July 9, and 7.30pm, on July 11. The vehicle has been added to the hotlist.OAK TREETheft.

Two males in balaclavas entered a communal area at Pinxton Court, at 1.20pm, on July 10. The males will be interviewed in relation to the theft. The bike was recovered on some grassland nearby.A woman dressed in a grey hoodie with long hair was seen to be stealing a carrier containing milk and juice from a property on Osmanton Walk on July 9. Police are currently looking at CCTV into a connection with the theft.Two young men in white baseball caps were seen taking a fence panel off a front garden on Ling Forest Close and walking away with it. The offence took place on July 11 at 3.48am, and they were captured on CCTV.PORTLANDTheft from motor vehicle. A Scorpion exhaust has been stolen from a vehicle between 6pm, on July 11 and 1.45am the next day, whilst parked at Superbowl car park. CCTV is available and is being checked.Theft from motor vehicle. A black and gold Yamaha YZF 125 bike was stolen from outside Pure Gym, on Nottingham Road, between 11.30pm hours on July 8, and 2.15am on July 9. The bike has been added to the police hotlist.A silver VW Golf was stolen from Victoria Street in Mansfield between 10.25pm and 11.25pm on July 9. The vehicle has been added to the police hotlist.ROBIN HOODTheft from motor vehicle. A white Audi parked on Oxclose Lane in Mansfield Woodhouse was broken into between 9.30pm, on July 11, and 4.40am, on July 8. The offender/s smashed the rear passenger window and stole a handbag that contained a purse, a manicure set and a nail dryer machine.Theft of motor vehicle. A white Vauxhall Astra van was stolen at around 4.45pm on July 12, from a driveway on Middleton Road, in Mansfield Woodhouse, but was later found and returned to the owner.RAVENSDALEBurglary other than dwelling. There was an attempted break-in at Brunts School via the Community Performance Centre doors, between 2am and 2.30am, on July 12. Four youths were seen on CCTV ramming a glass door with a fire extinguisher. They smashed the glass but did not enter the building.Theft other. A black Scooter with rainbow coloured handlebars was stolen from Carr Bank Park, at 6.20pm on July 6. One female and one male were seen to pick the scooter up and take it off the park towards the town centre. The female is described as having blonde hair, wearing glasses, a Brunts green and yellow T-shirt and black trousers and the male had black hair and was wearing grey shorts and T-shirt. Enquiries are ongoing.SHERWOODTheft from motor vehicle. A prescription was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight on July 9, on Crow Hill Drive. A rear window has been smashed on a car parked in a car parking space on Chesterfield Road South, between 7.45pm and 11pm, on July 11.TOWN CENTRE

Theft. A rose gold I phone XS was stolen from a bench in the market place at approximately 3pm on July 11.A black Valentino cross body bag was stolen from the rear car park of the Swan pub on July 12, at 11pm. The bag contained important medication.

Food delivery driver bags were stolen from Victorian Tandoori on Albert Street in Mansfield, on July 5.
