Police are appealing for witnesses after reports of two people having sex in a Sutton churchyard.

The incident is believed to have happened at around 5.30pm on Thursday May 7 in St Mary Magdalene’s churchyard in Church Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Ashfield District Commander, Inspector Mark Dickson says “Nottinghamshire police will not tolerate behaviour like this. I would urge anyone with information that will help identify those involved to contact us.”
