Police appeal for witnesses to Budby collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which left a driver in a critical condition in hospital.

The incident happened at about 5am on Sunday 26th February in Worksop Road (A616), at Budby.

Only one vehicle was involved in the crash, a red Peugeot 106 GTI, which left the road and collided with a tree.

The male driver sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

Another man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained minor injuries.
