Police are appealing for information after a street robbery in Mansfield.

The incident occurred on Monday at around 6.45pm on the Oak Tree Lane estate, near to some steps which lead from heathland to the leisure centre.

A man suffered minor injuries and had personal items stolen from him after he was struck from behind and fell to the floor.

The offender is described as white, in his mid to late 20s, of a slim build and around 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black trousers and wore a black and white striped scarf which covered his mouth and nose.
