Notts shoplifter caught with knife and drugs

A Hucknall shoplifter has been jailed after he was caught with a blade and drugs.

Daniel Kell stole six Febreze plug-in kits, costing £42, and an electric toothbrush, worth £39 from B&M Bargains, on Castle Retail Park, Nottingham, on May 27.

He was stopped on Watnall Road on November 7 with a lock knife and cocaine.

Kell, 30, of Brickyard Drive, Hucknall, pleaded guilty to the thefts, drug and knife possession, when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on November 9.

He was jailed for 24 weeks.
