Notts make-up thief was caught with a blade

A Sutton man who admitted knife-crime and a theft has been sentenced.

Paul Stafford stole £138 of make up from Wilkos, on January 10, and was found in Garden Lane carrying a red-handled kitchen knife, on May 15.

Stafford, 42, of Coxmoor Road, pleaded guilty to both offences at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on May 18.

He received six months, suspended for 18 months, because there is a "realistic prospect of rehabilitation and steps have been taken to address his offending and a drug problem."
