Notts and Derbyshire cops chase stolen car suspect

Officers spotted a car which was believed to be stolen in Nottingham Road, Stapleford in the early hours of this morning (Friday, May 8).

The car was pursued into Derbyshire before being brought to a stop.

A man was then chased on foot by officers from both Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Police, and was detained with the assistance of Nottinghamshire’s Police Dog Reno.

A 26-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, following incidents in Cemetery Road and Valmont Road, Stapleford, yesterday.
