Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash with van in Mansfield

Emergency services are on scene following a crash involving a motorbike and a van in Mansfield earlier this afternoon.

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses after the collision which happened in Lindhurst Lane, at the junction with Berry Hill Lane, at around 2.50pm today.

The motorcyclist was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by road ambulance.

Th police statement added that it was currently believed the motorcyclist’s injuries are serious.

Lindhurst Lane is currently closed at the junction with Berry Hill Lane as Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit continues its investigations.

A police spokeman said: “Nottinghamshire Police are urging anyone who witnessed this crash or any drivers who may have dash cam footage to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident number 426 of 6 September 2020.”
