Mansfield Woodhouse man spared prison after breaching restraining order by contacting woman

A Mansfield Woodhouse man has been given a suspended prison sentence after he breached a restraining order.

Christopher Glynne Goode made calls to his former partner between June 19 and July after the restraining order was imposed by Nottingham Magistrates’ Court in January of this year.

Court records show that Goode, 32, of Vale Road, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted the breach when he appeared before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on July 20.

Goode was committed to prison for 12 weeks but magistrates suspended the sentence for 12 months.

Records describe the offence as “a persistent breach carried out soon after the restraining order was imposed.

Goode was also ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £156 victim surcharge.
