Mansfield Woodhouse man accused of dangerous driving makes first court appearance

A Mansfield man who allegedly failed to stop for officers following a police pursuit in the town has made his first appearance in court.

Jonathan Burton, 27, of Mapletoft Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse, appeared before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 8, charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without a licence and driving with no insurance.

It is alleged that Burton was spotted performing loops in his van before fleeing into a house, where he was arrested.
