Mansfield woman who stole from stores and carried a knife handed suspended sentence
A Mansfield woman has been given a suspended prison sentence for failing to cooperate with the Probation Service following convictions for theft and drugs offences, court records show.
Donna Mason stole electrical items from B&M Bargains to an unknown value on September 17, 2018, as well as on March 2 and 9 of the same year.
Records for Nottingham Magistrates’ Court show that Mason was also caught carrying a lock knife on Stockwell Gate on July 9, 2018, and received a community order.

Records also show that the 41-year-old, from Courtwell, Bellamy Estate, Mansfield, had stolen items from Boots and failed to surrender to custody.
On March 19, 2018, she was also found with a quantity of heroin in her system.
Records show that Mason had subsequently failed to attend appointments with the Probation service on July 20 and 30, 2018, without a reasonable excuse.
She was given a 28-day prison sentence, suspended for six months.
