Mansfield shoplifter caught with drugs and a knife

Ronald Fullilove stole £420 of cosmetics from Boots, in Alfreton, on September 3, and on November 7, he was found on Station Street, Mansfield, with a small quantity of cannabis and a folding pocket knife. He also stole a television set on October 22.

Fullilove, 60, of Rosemary Street, Mansfield, pleaded guilty to theft, possession of a Class B drug and a blade when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on November 9.

The offences put him in breach of a suspended sentence order made by Worcestershire Magistrates Court, in November last year for three thefts and breaching a conditional discharge.

He was jailed for 16 weeks and four weeks of the suspended sentence were activated, to make a total of 20 weeks in prison. He was ordered to pay £420 compensation to Boots.
