Mansfield man jailed after breaching restraining order banning him from contacting woman

A Mansfield man has been jailed after he flouted a court order banning him from contacting a woman in the town.

James Lee Chandler, 29, of Cobden Place, Mansfield, had an 18-week prison sentence, imposed in February, invoked on May 10 after he visited the woman’s address, breaching a restraining order issued by Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.

Chandler was sentenced to another six-week prison sentence, to be served concurrently, for causing damage to a bedroom window when he visited the property in the town.
