Mansfield man charged with assaulting a paramedic

A man is due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court charged with assaulting a paramedic.

Nottinghamshire Police called to Dallas Street in Mansfield at around 6.35pm yesterday evening after a paramedic was reported to have been pushed by person in a flat.

Kenny Stevenson, 30, of Dallas Street, Mansfield, was charged with assaulting an emergency worker and bailed to appear on August 7.

Inspector Nick Butler said: “Assaults on emergency workers are totally unacceptable and we will deal robustly with reports made to us.”
