Mansfield drug dealer who ran up £23,000 debt given another chance to turn life around
A Mansfield drug dealer who ran a “professional” delivery service after amassing a £23,000 debt has been given another chance, a court heard.
Police found £365 of drugs and £987 in cash when they confronted Callum Bradbury on January 25 last year, said Sanjay Jerath, prosecuting.
Dealer bags, phone messages and packaging, indicating a “professional” delivery service, were also uncovered.
The court heard he has two previous convictions for driving and drug possession offences, and he received a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, in January 2025.

And he was back in court for breaching that order on September 5.
“The judge saw fit to give him another chance,” Pars Samrai, mitigating, said. “There has been no further offending for 17 months. The obvious reason for this is he is 17 months older.
“The influences on his life at the time were somewhat negative. He was very scared to say something to the police that would get back to various individuals.
“He and his mother moved out of the area. They are a lot happier. He aspires to work with motor vehicles. He is taking advice about his debt.
“He doesn't want to end up in prison. It would cause immense hardship for his mum who suffers from a range of medical issues and relies upon him.”
Bradbury, aged 20, of Mayfield Close, admitted possessing a class B drug with intent to supply when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court, on May 19.
The case was adjourned until Tuesday when he received a 12-month community order with 150 hours of unpaid work, and 12 rehabilitation days.
He was ordered to pay £199 in costs.
