Mansfield child murder trial: Final day of evidence in the case of woman accused of scalding her 19-month-old daughter to death

We are here at Nottingham Crown Court to report the final day of evidence in the case of Mansfield mother Katie Crowder – accused of scalding her daughter Gracie to death.

Crowder, 26, of Wharmby Avenue, Mansfield, will today be cross-examined by prosecution barrister Sally Howes QC.

It is alleged that Crowder deliberately tipped a bucket of scalding water over her daughter in the early hours of March 6 his year, which she denies.
