Mansfield burglar faces crown court sentence

A Mansfield man who burgled an office and a pub is set to be sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court.

Leigh Paddon broke into Tallents Solicitors, on West Gate, on July 23, last year, and stole various items of an unknown value.

On March 11, this year, he broke into the Little John , in Ravenshead, with intent to steal.

He also stole gift sets from Home Bargains and £35 of toiletries from Poundland, on February 26, as well as £94 of perfumes from Boots, on February 27.

He smashed the window of a silver Ford Mondeo and stole £183 in cash from the car when it was parked on Kitchener Drive, in Mansfield, on March 12.

Paddon, 36, of Lord Street, admitted the burglaries and thefts when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on April 17.

He will be sentenced on May 11.
