Man's body found in Mansfield

A man’s body has been found in a car in Mansfield.

Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed that the body was found in a car on Eakring Road, Mansfield, during yesterday evening (January 28).

A police spokesman said: “Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called to Eakring Road, Mansfield, yesterday after a man's body was found in a car.

“The man's death is not being treated as suspicious.”

Residents reported seeing a heavy police presence between 4pm and 5pm, near Sherwood Golf Club and Mansfield Rugby Club.
