A SUTTON man was remanded to appear at Nottingham Crown Court for trespassing and stealing a wallet from a factory employee.
Mansfield Magistrates’ Court was told by prosecutor Robert Carr how Stephen Beilby (33), of Nesbitt Street, entered Robinson Plastic, on Lowmoor Road, and was found with the wallet in his waste band.
Nicola Thorpe, defending, said Beilby’s route home would have taken him past the factory.
“He entered the factory and wanted to use the toilet,” said Ms Thorpe.
“When challenged by staff he handed over the wallet.”
Beilby admitted burglary other than dwelling.
District Judge Tim Devas said he was remanding the Sutton man until sentencing on a date to be fixed as he believed he would commit further offences.
He added: “Every time you commit a burglary you will get a long sentence.”
