Man in critical condition after stabbing in Nottinghamshire

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called to Newmarket Road in Bulwell after the incident was reported at around 11.30am this morning, Saturday, November 7.

The man has been taken to hospital for treatment and police have placed a cordon around the area while they “establish the circumstances”.

Nottinghamshire Police is now appealing for anyone who has any information to get in touch “as soon as possible”.

Inspector Georgie Ball, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This a serious incident that has left a man in a critical condition.

“A cordon has been set up in Newmarket Road whilst we work to understand what happened.

“Anyone who has any information or dashcam footage of the incident should contact Nottinghamshire Police as soon as possible.”
