Man hospitalised after armed gang involved in Mansfield town centre fight

A town centre fight that caused parts of Mansfield to be closed off has led to a police investigation after a man was hospitalised.

The disturbance started on Noel Street at around 5.40pm on December 10, before a Ford Fiesta was smashed up in Rosemary Street and the 20-year-old man was assaulted. His injuries are not life-threatening or altering, however it is believed that most men involved were carrying weapons.
