Man charged over booze theft in Somercotes

A man who is accused of stealing booze from several shops has been charged with shop lifting.

Adam King (30) from Loscoe Road, Heanor, is accused of taking a bottle of vodka from Somercotes on 27th December. He was also charged with stealing a gold reindeer from Home Bargains in Heanor on November 18th, and three bottles of Jack Daniels from Bellinis on Heanor Road, Ilkeston on News Year’s Day.

He is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 25th February.
