Man caught over the limit at McDonald’s drive-thru in Mansfield

A Hucknall man has been banned after driving over the limit in Mansfield.

Kieron Thompson was stopped while driving a BMW at McDonald's, on Park Lane, Mansfield, on December 1, last year.

Tests revealed he had 87 mcgs of alcohol on 100 mls of breath, when the legal limit is 35 mcgs.

Thompson, 33, of Versailles Gardens, Hucknall, pleaded guilty on November 9.

He was fined £120, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and costs of £120, and was banned for 20 months
