Man arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and failing to remain at the scene of an accident in Sutton
Nottinghamshire Police officers were called to a report of a two car collision in Mansfield Road near to King's Mill Hospital at around 8.20pm yesterday (Friday 10 July).
One of the drivers had gone but left the car he was driving at the scene. Fire crews were also in attendance and one person was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
A 28-year-old man was arrested around 50 minutes later walking along the A38 towards Sutton. He remains in custody as enquiries continue.
