Man arrested following Sutton firearms discharge

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm following an incident in Aspley Road, Sutton.

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called just before 8.30pm on Friday (February 7) to a report of a firearms discharge.

No one was injured in the incident.

Detective Inspector Kylie Westlake said: “I would encourage anyone who saw or heard anything in the area to come forward.”
