Man arrested after threats to set police vehicles on fire in Ashfield
A man was arrested for threatening to set fire to police vehicles after his car was seized for having no tax in Ashfield.

The incident happened as the Operation Reacher team was on patrol in Kirkby on Monday.
A post on the Ashfield North Police Facebook page read: “Mr Vehicle Owner was clearly not happy with this, picking up the phone to complain. Probably not the best idea to threaten to set fire to police vehicles as these threats led to Mr Vehicle Owner getting an all-inclusive stay at Mansfield custody after being arrested.”
