Man arrested after drugs found inside car stopped for speeding in Blidworth

The vehicle was stopped in Blidworth, on August 31, after it was spotted speeding and cutting up another vehicle in Blidworth Lane at about 9pm.
Nottinghamshire Police said three men were inside the car and the driver initially gave false details.

Hide AdHowever, when officers carried out a search of the car they found a bag with suspected Class A drugs and drug paraphernalia.
A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Hall, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a great bit of work by our officers which led to illegal drugs being seized.
“We are constantly on the lookout for vehicles we believe may be involved in crime and continue to work every day to ensure any people using our road network for criminal purposes are brought to account.
