Kimberley man who downloaded child porn also had ‘Aladdin's Cave’ of class A drugs in bedroom
A Kimberley man who downloaded indecent images of children as young as five years old also had an "Aladdin's Cave" of class A drugs in his bedroom, a court has heard.
Police officers arrived at Lewis Green's home on January 29, last year when his parents agreed to a voluntary search, said Samantha Warner, prosecuting.
Analysis of his devices revealed 13 category A indecent photographs of children, seven category B images, and 17 category C images.
As he was taken to custody they also uncovered “extraordinarily” small amounts of LSD, ketamine, magic mushrooms and ecstasy, and £155 in cash in a safe.

An examination of Green’s phone revealed he had been selling them to a “relatively small cadre of associates and friends,” but would still have expected a “significant financial advantage,” the court heard.
He had been looking actively for indecent images of children by searching for terms like "incest" and "underage."
Green, now of Stavely Way, Gamston, admitted three counts of possessing indecent images and four of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply, when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates December 18.
“Heaven knows why but you took it into your own mind to search for what was plainly abusive imagery of underage girls,” Judge Michael Auty told him on Thursday.
“Some people think this is a victimless crime. It isn’t. Those are real children with real parents. The notion of anyone drooling over these images while children are sadistically abused would turn any right-minded person’s stomach.
“If I applied the guidlelines ruthlessly it would produce a custodial sentence of three years. You would richly deserve it on one level.
“First, I have to have regard for the fact you are 26 with no previous convictions.
"Second, you deserve a full one third discount for your early guilty pleas. And third, a considerable amount of time has flown under the bridge.
“It must have taken some courage on your part to take yourself off to the Lucy Faithful Foundation and tell them you have been looking at pedophilic images.”
Green received a two year prison sentence, suspended for two years, with 200 hours of unpaid work, a 26-day programme, and ten rehabilitation days.
He must sign the sex offenders register for ten years and a ten-year sexual harm prevention order was imposed.
