Jail for violent Eastwood bully who stamped on girlfriend’s head and back
A violent Eastwood man who knocked his girlfriend unconscious when he stamped on her head and back before bullying and humiliating her in a corner shop has been jailed.
Jayden Anderson became angry and accused the woman of being unfaithful when he turned up at her home after they argued on the bus home from Nottingham city centre on July 4, said Christopher Grabowski, prosecuting.
He began searching for other people in her house and flipped the mattress over before ripping her nightwear, he said.
She ran from the room and Anderson, aged 27, pushed her into a wall, causing a dent.

He pushed her over and stamped on her head and back, leaving her with injuries to her eye and ear and marks on her shoulders. She was knocked unconscious and woke up on the bathroom floor.
The following day Anderson confronted her in her home and kicked his way through an recently repaired door.
Nottingham Crown Court was shown CCTV of him bursting into a shop and throwing items from a display which struck her on the head on August 1.
Anderson, who was on bail at the time, repeatedly asked, “What have I done?” before leaving her in tears.

The court heard he has 33 previous convictions including harassment, criminal damage and assault against a different victim in November 2024
Anderson, of Wilson Road, Eastwood, admitted battery at the first opportunity and pleaded guilty to criminal damage and assault occasioning actual bodily harm before a trial.
Anna Jones, mitigating, said he has spent four months on remand, equivalent to an eight month sentence, and is willing to engage in alcohol abstinence monitoring and domestic violence rehabilitation courses.
She said rehabilitative work with a suspended sentence would help him to address the root causes of his offending.
On Tuesday, Judge James Sampson told him: "This was a bad assault. It is aggravated by the fact you were in drink, and you were on bail. Your behaviour didn't stop with the assault occasioning actual bodily harm, you assaulted (your victim) again in public.
"It was designed to humiliate her. You were bullying her. You are a danger to any unfortunate woman you might befriend.”
The judge handed Anderson a 19 month prison sentence and imposed a five-year restraining order.
