Huthwaite man harassed woman and stole items from B&M Bargains on three occasions while on police bail

A Huthwaite man was caught by police officers carrying a piece of wood on a street he was banned from entering under the conditions of his bail.

Michael Jordan Nelson, aged 26, of Barker Street, Huthwaite, appeared before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on June 18, where he admitted harassing a female on June 17, carrying an offensive weapon and breaching his bail conditions by being on Spruce Avenue, Kirkby, at the time of his arrest – which he was forbidden from entering.

In a separate listing, Nelson also admitted entering B&M Bargains, in Station Street, Kirkby, on three occasions, stealing items to the value of £107.36.

On June 14 he entered the store and stole electrical items to the value of £64.98, took charcoal worth £3.99 on May 25, and lifted more electrical goods valued at £38.39 on June 3, court records show.

Nelson was given a 12-month community order and ordered to pay £107.36 compensation.
