Homeless man jailed for drug and knife offences in Notts

A homeless man who was found with drugs and a knife in Sutton has been jailed for 21 weeks.

Robert Barraclough was caught with cannabis and the blade at King’s Mill reservoir, on April 14.

Barraclough, 44, of no fixed abode, admitted both offences, which put him in breach of a conditional discharge and a suspended sentence order, both for theft.

On April 15, Nottingham magistrates jailed him for 146 days and ordered him to pay £122 court costs.
