Berry Hill

Theft of motor vehicle – a white Mercedes was stolen between 5.30pm on March 14 and 6.30pm on March 15 while parked on Stella Street in Mansfield.

Broomhill

Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 2am and 9.50am on March 11 police received reports of a car being broken into on Rosemary Street in Mansfield. The offenders stole a stereo, badge, bulbs and a door lock and smashed the rear light. The vehicle was a silver Volkswagen Golf.

Burglary other than dwelling – A Portakabin at Forest Town Arena was broken into sometime between 2pm on March 15 and 7am on March 16. It is unknown if anything had been stolen.

Forest Town West

Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 6pm on March 13 and 6am on March 14 a Black Lexmoto motorbike was stolen from a driveway on Laurel Avenue, Forest Town.

The bike was secure and no keys were taken.

The bike was later found in the Mansfield area with quite a lot of damage. The ignition had been ripped off along with the wires. The seat had also been ripped off and the plastic protection removed.

Portland

Theft from a motor vehicle – overnight on March 13 and 2.30pm on March 14, unknown persons gained entry to a parked vehicle and stole horse clippers. The vehicle was parked on St Margaret’s Street in Mansfield. CCTV is currently being checked.

Theft from a motor vehicle – A passenger window was smashed on a car while parked in Morrisons car park in Mansfield Woodhouse. The incident occurred between 4-7am on March 14 and two confectionery bouquets were stolen. CCTV is currently being checked.

Between 5.30pm on March 15 and 7am on March 16, a vehicle was broken into on Yorke Street in Mansfield Woodhouse. The offender smashed a rear side window and stole a coat.

A vehicle was broken into between 6am-12.20pm on March 16 while parked on Hunters Close in Mansfield Woodhouse. The offender stole the lock and tools from within including a cordless battery tool/drill and cutters and a battery booster pack and a snap on scanner. CCTV is currently being checked.

Ravensdale

Theft from a motor vehicle – a white Mercedes was damaged while parked in a car park near Lochbuie Court in Mansfield. The incident occurred between 6pm on March 16 and 7am on March 17. The bonnet had been dented and the windscreen and rear window smashed.

Sherwood

Theft from a motor vehicle – a vehicle was broken into sometime between March 14 and and March 15 while parked in the car park at Tesco on Chesterfield Road South. The offenders put a hole in the door handle to gain entry and stole three CDs and a Sky box.

Warsop/Meden Vale

Burglary other than a dwelling – a chainsaw was stolen from a garage on Osborne Yard in Warsop at around 4.45pm hours on March 12. The offender was described as 5ft 6ins tall and was wearing an all-black tracksuit and was of a slim build.

Unknown persons entered a property on Kirton Close in Meden Vale and stole an upstairs bedroom carpet. They damaged a wooden door to gain entry. Police have no time frame other than the offence occurred between March 12 and March 22.
