Group wearing balaclavas break into Warsop Post Office

Four people wearing balaclavas broke into a Post Office in Warsop last night, Nottinghamshire Police have said.

Officers were called to High Street at around 12.15am this morning after reports of a burglary.

The group are believed to have travelled to the Post Office in a small, black car before breaking the glass of the front door and gaining entry.

Nothing has been taken in the incident and the group are believed to have left in the same vehicle.

Inspector Kylie Davies said: “We are exploring a number of lines of enquiry in connection with the break in but we are now appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch with us as soon possible.

“Burglary can have a devastating impact on businesses and we will do everything we can to find who is responsible for this.”
