Nottinghamshire Police are preparing to say a final goodbye to a much-loved colleague from Mansfield Police Station.
Jess Adams worked on the front counter at Mansfield Police Station for many years and has been well-known and respected by Nottinghamshire Police officers, staff and members of the community throughout her almost 30 years’ service.
Superintendent Ian Roberts from Nottinghamshire Police said: “Jess will have been one of the first faces our officers, staff and the Mansfield community saw when they visited Mansfield Police Station and I know what an impact she has had on all those she met.
“Everyone you speak to about Jess talks of her personality and the impression she leaves on people and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
“My thoughts – as well as those of everyone at Nottinghamshire Police – are with Jess’s family and close friends at this sad time.”
The funeral for Jess Adams will be held at Mansfield Crematorium at 1.15pm tomorrow (Wednesday November 21).
The force will be represented at the funeral and members of the community who knew Jess are also welcome to attend.
