Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called just before 3.30am today, August 16, to a report of a disagreement in a house in Linton Close, Mansfield.

Four people have been arrested, including a 48 and 32-year-old woman, who have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

A 48 and 41-year old man have also been arrested on suspicion of obstructing police.

Detective Sergeant Dave Prest said: “Violence is never acceptable and it’s something we work hard to tackle through both education and enforcement.”

The two women were taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

Another person is thought to have left in a blue car following the incident.
