Force teams combine to send powerful message on knife crime in Nottinghamshire
Officers from teams across Nottinghamshire Police have united to send a powerful message about the devastating impact of knife crime.
Response, custody, CID and family liaison officers – as well as a surgeon working alongside us from the East Midlands Trauma Unit – have combined to describe the stark realities of knife crime and the impact it continues to have on entire families.
The message is clear, knives ruin lives and there is never any excuse for anyone to be carrying these weapons on our streets.
Police teams across Nottinghamshire are taking part in Sceptre, which lasts until Sunday (23 November).
Throughout the week of action, knife amnesty bins will be situated inside stations, shared services and other locations.
