Five appear in court over Kirkby hammer attack

Four Nottingham men and a teenager charged following a robbery in Kirkby in which a woman was threatened with a hammer, have appeared in court.

Tremaine Nigel Morley (21) of Lathkill Close, Shiero Marquis (24) of Millers Court, Aaron Anthony Adams (28) of Ransom Road, Kaiden Trevor Howell (18) of Eccles Way and a 17-year-old are appeared before Mansfield Magistrates this morning (Wednesday 26 March) charged with robbery.

All five deny the charge and four were detained in custody.

Only the 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was given bail.

All five are due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 9th April for a hearing.

It was alleged that at about 10.45am on Monday, a woman was threatened with a hammer by a group of men at Highfield Avenue.

Her attackers left with her mobile phone and other items of property.
