THEFT

Brad-lee Barber, 23, of Flat 1, 35 Albert Street, Mansfield.

He admitted stealing a vacuum cleaner and TV equipment valued at £204 from B&M, Mansfield and was given a community order with drug rehabilitation, ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 CPS costs. He admitted dishonestly claiming he was the owner of a vacuum cleaner and TV equipment with the intention of making a financial gain and was given a community order.

She admitted stealing chocolates valued at £39.96 from ESSO Stores, Langley Mill and was given a community order, fined £40 and ordered to pay £35.96 compensation. She admitted dishonestly making off without paying for fuel valued at £20 from Total Garage, Mansfield, and was given a community order, fined £40, ordered to pay £20 compensation. She admitted stealing two bottles of wine at £5 each, a chocolate egg valued at £6 and two bags of crisps at 75p each from Huthwaite Service Station, Sutton-in-Ashfield, and was given a community order, fined £40 and ordered to pay £12.50 compensation. She further admitted stealing eight jars of coffee to the value of £48 from Co-operative Food, Kirkby-in Ashfield and was given a community order, fined £40 and ordered to pay £48 compensation.

He admitted having a throwing knife in a public place. He was sent to jail for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge and £85 CPS costs. He admitted having a lock knife in a public place and was given an 18-week concurrent jail sentence, suspended for 12 months.
