An escaped prisoner is back behind bars after being caught hiding at a house in the area.
Jamie Dawson (30), had been on the run for four days when police received information and went to the address on 21st November, Nottingham Crown Court heard.
Dawson was arrested and taken to Mansfield police station where two small blocks of cannabis and over 20 tablets, which were class C drugs, were found wrapped in clingfilm and hidden between his legs, the court was told.
He admitted possession of the drugs and escaping from Sudbury Prison.
Dawson had been given four years in 2008 for house burglary. The judge Mrs Justice Macur sentenced him to a further 10 months for escaping from custody and having drugs.
