Drunken Mansfield man ‘used bottle to threaten street wardens’

A man accused of threatening street wardens with a broken bottle during a drunken night out will have his case heard at crown court.

Jackson Alan Tideswell, of Tideswell Court, Mansfield face two charges including affray and possessing cannabis.

The 25-year-old appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court where he entered no pleas for each charge.

Briefly outlining the case for the Crown Prosecution Service, Ruth Snodin, it is alleged he approached the two council workers and made threats, before picking up the bottle.

He is now due to appear before Nottingham Crown Court on 11th March.
